Connecting Detroit to Pontiac, the iconic Woodward Avenue is the backbone of the metro Detroit region. 27 miles of urban scenic byway traverse multiple communities, collectively dubbed “Woodward Corridor”. The communities involved are (from south to north): Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Royal Oak, Huntington Woods, Berkely, Birmingham, and Bloomfield Hills and West Bloomfield.

  • Many of the Woodward Corridor public districts offer school of choice, through various application processes. The Pleasant Ridge community does not have its own public schools, and is instead served by both Ferndale & Royal Oak districts, while Huntington Woods is served by Berkley Schools.
